2012 Mid Atlantic Tournament of Champions

More than 100 DeMolays and Advisors from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia met in Utica, NY to attend the 29th Annual Region II Mid Atlantic Tournament of Champions (MATOC) over the weekend of September 7-9, 2012. The 2012 MATOC was host to over 65 competing teams that performed more than 15 hours of DeMolay ritual in a single day!

Utica Masonic HallTOURNAMENT SITE - All competition events took place at the Utica Masonic Hall - located at 251 Genesee Street, Utica, NY, 13502 (View Map). This beautiful building provided MATOC competitors with several competition areas and various other rooms for contests and support functions.

Hotel UticaTOURNAMENT HOTEL - The Hotel Utica was the official 2012 tournament hotel. Located a short walking distance from the tournament site (just over a 1/4 mile) at 102 Lafayette Street, Utica, NY 13502 (View Map), the hotel was conveniently located in the heart of downtown Utica and within one mile of the Utica Zoo, the Children's Museum of History, Natural History, Science & Technology, and the Adirondack Scenic Railroad heritage railway. THE CONTESTS - As in previous years, MATOC offered competition in 3 divisions for 17 individual and team categories. See our contest archives for a list of this year's winning teams!
